Massage  Tips

How early should I arrive to my appointment?

To fully enjoy your experience I suggest that you arrive five to ten minutes early.  On your initial visit, I recommend that you use this time to fill out your confidential health questionnaire and acquaint yourself with my room and myself.

Should I inform you concerning any ailment, allergy or health concern?

In order to assure maximum safety, a brief health questionnaire is required.  Some health conditions are contraindicated with massage therapy.  This information is considered confidential.

What should I wear for my massage session?

Any type of attire is acceptable.  However, many people arrive in their most comfortable casual clothing.

Am I required to disrobe entirely for my massage?

Since my primary concern is your total comfort, I do not request you to do anything that may make you feel uncomfortable.  Feel free to disrobe to your level of comfort as I am highly trained in draping techniques to ensure your privacy at all times.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

     Please see Policies page.

     What about payment?

Payment is requested at the end of your scheduled appointment.  For you convenience, Cash, Check, Visa or Master Card are accepted.

Why should I drink water before and after my massage?

The human body is composed of 70 percent water, and water is involved in nearly every bodily function, including digestion, nutrient absorption, circulation, and waste excretion.  During a massage, waste products are massaged out of the muscles into the blood stream.  Drinking extra water helps to eliminate these waste products from your body.
